The week commencing 27th March, Corporate Driver Training Australia delivered driver training in Perth. We delivered our Perth Low Risk Driving Course at an on-site venue to a corporate client on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our Perth public event was delivered on a Thursday, a convenient weekday for our corporate attendees.
Participants had an expectation that they will be learning Defensive Driving techniques and driving at race tracks when attending our course. Our trainers explained that a Perth Low Risk Driving Course is very different to Defensive driving. There is no race track involved! It has been reinforced by statistics that driving on race tracks raises a driver’s perception of risk. In fact, all of our practical training is delivered on normal roads, driving in normal road conditions. Our objective is to motivate participants to think about safety when driving in these conditions.
At the end of each course, participants were very impressed with the message being delivered, and understood the need to take fewer risks whilst driving. The delivery of this message would not be best achieved on a racetrack!
The feedback we received at the end of the course strengthened this point. Several comments made by the participants included requests that their children complete this course.
